LS Swap & Engine Swap ECU Commissioning

Engine swaps combine mechanical, electrical and calibration work. FEF handles accepted ECU commissioning and calibration, while JP's Performance — known locally as ‘The LS Master’ — focuses heavily on LS-based swaps, builds and installation work.

What this service covers

Build the LS combination correctly, then give the ECU trustworthy information to work with.

A swap is easiest to diagnose when the mechanical install, wiring and ECU configuration are treated as separate systems with clear ownership.

FEF can review standalone ECU configuration, trigger/sync, sensor data, fuel/ignition setup and first-start calibration once the project is complete enough to test safely.

JP's Performance is heavily LS-focused and is known locally as ‘The LS Master.’ Project work can include Gen III / Gen IV LS swaps, DOD-delete builds, supporting installations and mechanical preparation, quoted by project. Selected standalone-install projects can be coordinated with FEF.

Standalone ECU commissioning for accepted engine swaps.

First-start support and timing/sync verification.

Dyno calibration after the swap is mechanically ready.

LS-focused engine swap/install support through JP's Performance, quoted by project.

Gen III / Gen IV LS and DOD-delete project support where applicable.

Clear handoff between mechanical and calibration scope.
